BLAST - Gameboard UI/UX Rework

I am proud to present my comprehensive rework of the BLAST game mode interface for Cross The Ages.

This project was a deep dive into mobile ergonomics. My primary goal was to condense a multitude of complex mechanics and information into a restricted space, without ever sacrificing readability for mobile players.

Key contributions & creative proposals:

UX Restructuring: A complete overhaul of the information flow to ensure a more intuitive and seamless player journey.

Dynamic Attack System: I designed a visually striking sword that serves as an end-of-turn indicator. It’s more than a UI element; it’s a visual reward integrated with VFX to enhance player feedback.

Information Hierarchy: A full redesign of counters and play zones to significantly reduce cognitive load during intense matches.

This rework illustrates my commitment to merging high-end aesthetics with functional design to serve the core gameplay experience.
